Nissan ( (NSANF) ) is set to increase its presence within the electrical car market.

And to do that, the legacy carmaker not too long ago introduced a strategic plan offering for two trillion yen in investments ($17.6 billion) over the following 5 years to speed up the deployment of its electrical automobiles.

This formidable plan contains the launch of 23 new electrified fashions by 2030, half of which shall be 100% electrical. Overall Nissan expects 50% of Nissan and Infiniti model gross sales to be generated by electrical automobiles by the top of the last decade. In the United States, Nissan is much less formidable because it solely expects 40% of its gross sales to be generated by gross sales of electrical automobiles by 2040. Nissan plans to promote 1 million electrified automobiles yearly by 2023, together with EVs and automobiles with e-power electrified powertrains.
